Amir Hossein Keihani, Black Birds, 2011

The chador here veils a man in the form of a bird of good or evil omen. These black birds investigate what is hidden as much as what is visible.


Amir Hossein Keihani
(1985 Mashhad, Iran) lives and works in Mashhad. He graduated in computer science and programming from Sadjad University in 2009. He has been painting, drawing and sculpting since 1991, and he took up photography in 2003. His most recent exhibition was in 2012, a group exhibition of Persbook Contest winners (Beyond Borders) at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Isfahan.
